Fabulous podcast!! Great, great album spotlight, nice cover song! Really liked the getaway song! Looking forward to next time.
Good Episode!
I really Tommy Stinson, The Struts, and as a Dokken fan I really loved that live Album Spotlight.
I could never quite figure out why Don Dokken and George Lynch couldn’t figure out their differences. Because when they shut their mouths and just played, that band was something to see. I was fortunate enough to see them in the 80’s, and it’s a shame that they let petty differences ruin such a great band.
That third set was outstanding, I also liked that NEW Rolling Stones song! Who would have thought?! And yes, that Saxon song (and scorcher of an album) is a 2024 release, and I bet it will make a lot of “Best of 2024” lists when the time comes. Such a consistent band, I’m really looking forward to seeing them live (with Uriah Heep) in May.
Hope everybody is well!
I feel like I am back in school copying the smart kids test questions, but my favorite part of the show was the album spotlight. As usual, I never heard of Dokken, but I liked them from the first song to the end of their set. The guitar work was very good on many songs. It is amazing that the Rolling Stones are even alive, yet alone turning out a great song in the 2020’s. I hope you keep doing these shows.
