Really solid show!
Great start with Elvis and The Allman Brothers…and then a great finish with Volbeat.
In between The Album Spotlight was really, really good. I play guitar, and somehow I had never heard of Sonny Landreth. Some of these amazing session guitarists just fly under the radar! Those songs were fantastic, especially that instrumental…whoa! Some tasty, melodic guitar playing on those three tunes.
Can never go wrong with Michael Schenker and UFO, and what a great find with that Bruce Dickinson solo song. That’s off his first solo album, which is really, really good.

To me, this sounded like a good old fashioned rock& roll show. Strong opening set, very entertaining album spotlight, high energy third set and a great closing song. Usually I have a favorite section but I don’t this time. Great effort before the holiday season begins and I hope everyone has a great time as we wind down another year.
