See What I Hear? Episode 149

In episode 149 Dylan & Allan cook up a “very quirky” show, right from the intro. They spotlight an album from a band that was huge in one city at least. Dylan allows a most unusual cover it song and Allan tries to explain something or other getting away. Oh well!

  1. Did catch me for a few seconds on the opening, but it was fine. I agree that better is not always as good, that is why I prefer live music. My favorite song was ” People Like You” by McGuffey Lane. I did some research and this was great Ohio band. Enjoyed The album section and liked the cover of a Louie Armstrong song done live. How you find these performances is beyond my comprehension. Onward to# 150. Keep them coming.

  2. Very nice show…

Once again a great display of throwing out the genres…

The Album Spotlight was a great display of no frills, just plug in and play Rock N’ Roll. I can see why this band would resonate in a blue collar city like Cleveland, Ohio. That theme definitely was highlighted during entire podcast, straight forward playing minus the studio wizardry. Good stuff!

Great story at the end…I never knew that little fact about LA Woman! I always assumed…it was a woman. Go figure…

    Hope everyone is well!
