Great show! Interesting album spotlight and band name. I was digging it! I recognized Volbeat right away. Y’all introduced me to that amazing band 3 years ago. Coincidentally I just pulled out my Volbeat albums the other day to give them some listens. That was a comical performance by Tom Petty there at the end! Who doesn’t love Tom Petty?! Hope all is welll.
“A Working Man Can’t Get Nowhere Today”,man does that resonate today. Thanks for playing some Merle. Great show. Hard to pick my favorite part, but after the opening the closing song with Tom Petty was second. The cover song was third. The album spotlight was fourth. The whole show was upbeat and I will be looking forward to the next one.
Really enjoyed the vibe of this podcast!
Great first set with Merle, Doobies, and the Allman Brothers.
I also liked the variety of live songs, as concerts are such a big part of summer.
Great cover, and I’ve always loved that li e Tom Petty song about Spike! Great choice…
All that being said…I’m looking forward to some “angry stuff” as we head into fall!
Hope everyone is well!
