See What I Hear? Episode 133

In episode 133 Allan seems quite conflicted about the holiday while Dylan has no concerns at all. They Spotlight an album after pretty much bashing it for some reason. And Allan seems pretty unsure of his cover it and getaway songs. Oh well

  1. Really good show…

I really enjoyed the album spotlight, that band Freeway has a very classic sound. To my ears it was part 70’s classic rock, but a little New Wave of British Heavy Metal influence, too. What a great sound for modern music….

Great pick for the cover song, and the legendary Graham Bonnett belting out those “Since You’ve Been Gone” vocals. The fact he nailed it was no surprise, considering he sang it in Rainbow, as well.
And the guitar ear candy…from a young Yngwie Malmsteen. Great find!

Enjoyable listen for summer….which should be here soon! Hope everybody is well…!

  2. Years ago I started looking people right in their eyes and saying I hope you have a great day. It seems to work well. Great opening set, My favorite was the Clapton song. Agree with DMack that cover song was very good. The closing song was a pleasant surprise from Mick but I started thinking about it and I realized that he grew up during World War 11 and that had to leave some haunting memories. Great show to start summer.
