Good episode….. I have never heard of Steepwater Band. I really like their sound. I’ve heard of Motörhead but have had very little experience with their music…. I need to give them a deeper dive. What I love most about this podcast…. I am guaranteed to discover something new. Thank you for all you do! I hope everyone is looking forward to the holiday season!
Good show!
Very nice tributes to Denny Laine and Shane MacGowan, I was sad to see the news of their passing.
Really enjoyed the Album Spotlight….I had never heard of Steepwater, but I really liked their bluesy sound. I agree, I would enjoy seeing them in that live setting, as well!
Great late period Motörhead selection, and wow, what a very curious cover. Never in a million years would I dare to dream that Shane MacGowan and Nick Cave would cover a Louis Armstrong classic. The wonders of music, man!
Finally, thanks for reposting last year’s Christmas episode, that was a great one!
Hope everybody is enjoying these days before Christmas!
Very good show. Favorite part was the cover of Wonderful World, I love that song. Sorry to see that we lost more talented artists, but you always have a nice tribute. I am now going to listen to the repeat episode. That Christmas special is probably my favorite of all the shows you have done. I hope everybody has a great Christmas.
Enjoyed the episode. Good hearing Motörhead again on the podcast. Steep water has a great sound. Interesting cover song but not my cup of tea. Overall enjoyable podcast.
